Goldfrapp are starting work on their sixth album

Musician Will Gregory finds getting back together with bandmate Alison Goldfrapp"refreshing"following his recent work on opera 'Piccard in Space'.

He told Radio station BBC6 Music:"I am ready to do it now, to get back to Goldfrapp will be a very refreshing change.

"We have tried sitting down and writing lists and having coffee to talk about it, but usually we just mess about, it's good not to be too conscious about what you do."

Although the 'Rocket' hitmakers have plenty of unused material from their 2010 album, 'Head First', they are likely to start recording from scratch.

Will added:"We have, as usual, lots of stuff in the bottom drawer which we rejected the first time round, but I expect we'll want to start a fresh this time round."

In November 2010 Alison revealed the group's record deal with EMI had ended, but she was excited to continue their career with a new label.

She said:"We are no longer with EMI. It's exciting because it is kind of, like, 'Wow, this is a whole new chapter really, what will we do and will anyone want us?'

Soon after the band signed to independent record company Mute.

The 'Dreamlover' hitmaker was speaking as she posed without a top and exposed her baby bump for Life&Style magazine, and she confessed she was terrified about the photo shoot.

She said: ' was feeling very vulnerable about taking pictures at all right now, but then I didn't want to miss this opportunity to document this once-in-a-lifetime experience.

She added: 'The babies were kicking almost the entire time; it was unbelievable.

'Especially the girl ' clearly she's a diva in training! We didn't start shooting until 1.30am because I was in the hospital from the night before until the day of the shoot with contractions five minutes apart.'

Eliza Doolittle would rather make 'fun music' than bare her soul in her songs

The 'Mr Medicine' singer counts a catchy tune as the most important thing when she is writing tracks, and cites Beyonce Knowles' former group Destiny's Child as an influence on her.

She said: ' was always into pop music, Destiny's Child, songs with catchy music. Even when I was writing when I was younger it wasn't all about expressing myself, it was just about making fun music.

' don't mean that in the sense of it being bubblegum, I mean, I'm not mad about the music of bands like S Club 7, but I do like a great song that becomes popular. If people like a song, then I don't see that as a bad thing.'

Eliza first started writing music at the age of 12 and while she warns she has worked very hard, she has no regrets, and doesn't think she would be where she is today if she hadn't started so early.

She added to the Yorkshire Post newspaper: 'Whenever people used to ask me what I wanted to be when I was older I would always say that I wanted to be a singer. When I was 12 I decided I would do something about it so I started writing songs.

' think that if you want to make it in this business, you have to work really hard. It never really happens overnight.

' think that if I hadn't started when I was so young then it would have taken me a lot longer to get good at it.'

'Everything else has had to take a back seat. I am figuring out as I go along with these two angels of mine. And we are doing just fine.'

Charlie Sheen is set to record a single with Snoop Dogg

The troubled actor ' who kicks off his 'Violent Torpedo of Truth' tour this Saturday (02.04.11) in Detroit ' is enlisting the help of the legendary rapper, as well as producer Robert Patterson, in the hope of launching an onslaught on the music industry.

Ashlee Simpson and Pete Wentz have been spotted holding hands

The pair ' who recently called time on their relationship after almost three years of marriage ' were reportedly 'looking like a couple again' while on a family date out at Los Angeles' Beverly Glen Mall with their two-year-old son Bronx earlier today (31.03.11).

An onlooker told People.com: 'Ashlee and Pete held hands, and Pete especially looked very happy. While waiting for their drinks, Pete had his arm around Ashlee and they definitely looked like a couple again.

'Ashlee kept smiling and lovingly leaned on Pete."

Pete, 31, recently admitted despite his split from the 26-year-old singer, the pair were still 'best friends' and he has nothing but 'love and respect' for his estranged wife.

The Fall Out Boy bassist explained: 'Ashlee's been my best friend for five years; she's the mother of my child. I have nothing but love and respect for her and going through something like this isn't easy, but we're friends and the most important thing is to put our son first."

Although when filing for divorce Ashlee applied for sole custody of Bronx ' and Pete having sine requested joint care ' the couple are said to be working to reach an 'amicable' solution.

An insider recently revealed: 'Ashlee and Pete's split is amicable and they're working together to make this as positive a situation for Bronx as possible."
