The 'Family Affair' hitmaker claims the group's track 'Keep On Moving' turned her life around and gave her hope during her early years growing up in the tough housing projects of New York.

She said:"'Keep On Moving"saved my life. That record just seemed like it shed some light in my life. It just felt so warm and good. We needed that when we were growing up in the projects. I first heard that song on the radio, and just blasted it. I'm serious. It was our song ' a black people's song."

Mary never forgot her roots after becoming a global R&B star and has supported a number of charities including establishing her Foundation for the Advancement of Women Now (FFAWN) which offers scholarships and programmes whose aim is to foster self-esteem and career development in people usually from more deprived backgrounds.

The foundation recently announced an auction to raise money, which has seen Christina Aguilera donate tickets to her TV show 'The Voice' and Jay-Z offer an internship at his music management and publishing company Roc Nation among generous gifts from many other stars.

Brett Anderson announces live dates

Brett Anderson releases a brand new solo album 'Black Rainbows' on EMI Records on Sep 26.

The album sees Brett return to the rock format he is most identified with through his work with Suede and is the first rock album he has made for 6 years. It was conceived over a 3 day session in January last year when Brett, producer Leo Abrahams, Seb Rochford and Leopold Ross worked on 20 different pieces, which gradually evolved into songs.

Anderson describes the album as 'restless, noisy and dynamic. Electric guitars, bass, drums and vocals ' no flute players, no strings, no gimmicks, just passion'.

The album is preceded by the single 'Brittle Heart' which is available as a download on August 15.

Both the single and album were produced by Leo Abrahams and appear as part of a new deal with EMI Records.

Brett will play two live dates in October, for which tickets go on sale this Friday, May 20.

The 'Born This Way' hitmaker ' who has dubbed her fans her 'little monsters' ' explained while she is looking forward to starting a family in the future, she is concentrating on keeping her followers happy at the moment.

She said: ' think at some point, yeah, I'll have a family and babies and all those things, but not right now.

"Not for a while. Right now I have lots of fans. I'm giving birth to lots of little monsters, so I need to keep down the stretch marks."

The 25-year-old singer ' real name Stefani Germanotta ' revealed she is also hoping to make her directorial debut behind the camera in the future.

Lady Gaga also admitted the egg she hatched out of at this year's Grammy Awards has not been put away for good, and she might bring it out again during her upcoming tour.

The 'Save Room' singer is a huge fan of the new judge of 'The X Factor' US, and although he won't be tuning in to watch the show, he has offered to her establish her as a solo star in America.

The singer and husband Nick Cannon ' who became parents to son Moroccan Scott and daughter Monroe on April 30 ' were shocked when she was accused of putting the babies at risk by drinking alcohol and taking drugs in her hospital room, with the 'America's Got Talent' host branding the allegations 'ridiculous'.

He told TV talk show host Piers Morgan:"Recently, the Child Protective Services were called with allegations that there was some drinking and drugs and all that going on, wild in the hospital, which makes no sense to me - how would a hospital allow that?

't all started when a nurse suggested to my wife that if you drink Guinness, the dark beer, the yeast improves breastfeeding. I don't know if someone heard that, but then they were saying my wife was drinking beer. People will do anything to try to conjure up a story.

' spoke to the person from the Child Protective Services, I was like, 'This is ridiculous. We're going to make sure that this isn't a case.'

'To even have to deal with that, my wife in the state that she's in, we're in the hospital, to even have to think about someone possibly wanting to investigate your children. it's sad at the end of the day.'

Nick, 30, also admitted he is astonished at the lengths people have gone to with their attempts to get pictures of the babies.

He added: 'There's been photographers actually in the hospital posing as different people or people trying to get pictures of the kids, which is really sad when you think about people trying to make a buck off newborn babies."

The Kills give away free track and release intimate studio footage

Following the release of their critically acclaimed fourth album 'Blood Pressures', The Kills are to make available a remix of 'Satellite' by London dub producer extraordinaire 'The Bug' (King Midas Sound). The track is available to stream and download for free via Soundcloudhere.

The band have also released a very special short film containing intimate studio footage produced by thirtytwo, the makers of Blur's Grammy nominated 'No Distance Left To Run' documentary. The video tells the story of the recording of 'Blood Pressures' and also features clips of several stripped back live acoustic recordings, including 'Pots And Pans', 'Baby Says' and 'The Last Goodbye'. The renowned film makers have also worked with the likes of the Arctic Monkeys, Elbow and Bjork.

The Kills have also confirmed a headline tour and a number of festival dates in the UK, including a sold out show at the Roundhouse London on June 3rd.

The band has invited Cat's Eyes, the new project of Faris Badwan and Rachel Zeffira, to be special guests at their Roundhouse show. Mute Records' SCUM will open that night and guest at all regional shows, with Wigan duo Brown Brogues opening at all shows except London and Manchester.

A number of festival dates have also been added, including Glastonbury (The Other Stage) and Reading&Leeds.

Beyonce Knowles disguised herself as animated dog Goofy on a recent trip out.

The 29-year-old singer was thrilled to take time off to take her six-year-old nephew Julez to Disneyland and admits she made a 'fool of herself' with her light-hearted attempt to avoid unwanted attention at the Californian theme park.

She said: ' got a day off to take my nephew to Disneyland, which was so much fun. I haven't done anything like that in probably 10 years - the last time I was at a theme park was with Destiny's Child! We rode all the rides, some of them twice, and it was my nephew's first time on a roller coaster.

'There were thousands of people there because it was Easter, but everyone was really polite and respectful, and let us walk around and have a great time.

Rihanna recently admitted she doesn't expect to ever"make up"with the 22-year-old singer but agreed to have the terms of his five-year restraining order against her relaxed as it was stopping him from attending events important to his career.

White Lies have announced details of the release of a new single. Holy Ghost will be released through Fiction Records on Monday June 20th 2011.

The single is a reworked version of the track taken from their 2nd album Ritual, released earlier this year.

Released on 7' and download, the single was produced and mixed by Alan Moulder (Smashing Pumpkins, Foo Fighters, My Bloody Valentine, Depeche Mode), and mastered by Nilesh Patel (Daft Punk, Justice).

Sir Elton John welled up as he watched Prince William and Kate Middleton marry yesterday (29.04.11).

The 'Tiny Dancer' singer was one of a handful of celebrity guests invited into Westminster Abbey in London to see the royal couple wed, and as he watched the union, he appeared almost moved to tears.

Elton was sat next to his husband, David Furnish, in the front row of the Abbey for the proceedings. The singer was a close friend of William's mother Diana, and performed at her funeral after her death

in a car crash in 1997.

Other celebrities among the wedding's 1,900 guests included soccer star David Beckham and his wife Victoria, invited after David worked closely with the prince on England's bid to host the 2018 World Cup.

The couple described the ceremony as 'beautiful and heartfelt,' before adding to BBC news: 'Catherine looked wonderfully elegant, and we were honoured to be part of such a special, historical day for our country.

"We wish Catherine and William much love and happiness for the future.'

Also in attendance at the wedding were film director Guy Ritchie, actor Rowan Atkinson and singer Joss Stone.

Many celebrities took to twitter to pay their respects to the happy couple, including singer George Michael, who had recorded a version of Stevie Wonder's track 'You and I' as a present for the couple.

The married couple - who were recently presented with an unpaid $1.7 million tax bill by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) which they have now paid - have decided they no longer want the luxurious five-bedroom house and have put it on the market.

As well as multiple bedrooms, the 4,500 square-foot property also boasts five bathrooms, a study, large living room, two balconies which provide panoramic ocean views and is situated directly on the beach within a gated community.

Rocker Ozzy and 'The Talk' presenter Sharon rented out the California home for $40,000-a-month in 2010.

Earlier this month, Sharon admitted she blamed herself for the $1.7 million tax bill.

The 58-year-old star - who owed $718,948.25 for the 2008 tax year and $1,024,175.03 for 2009 - accepts she spent too much time focusing on herself rather than concentrating on her household finances.

She said:"I'm to blame. Even though {the accountant} is paid to do a job, the buck stops with me. I was too involved with myself. I cancelled two meetings with him over the last 18 months because I was way too busy. The bottom line is it stops with me.

"The last couple of years, I have really been concentrating on myself - because I think I love myself a little bit too much - and not taking care of business."

Girls Aloud prepare 2012 comeback

Hilary Shaw, the pop band's manager, has confirmed their self-imposed hiatus will come to an end next year when the five-piece ' Cheryl Cole, Nadine Coyle, Kimberley Walsh, Nicola Roberts and Sarah Harding ' return to the stage to mark their 10th anniversary.

She said:"Everybody wants them to make a comeback and it will be next year. Well, it is their 10th anniversary so there will be something.

"They speak all the time, and that includes Cheryl and Nadine {Coyle} with the other girls. Cheryl is keen to get back with the girls and is planning something which could be a one-off or some gigs."

The 'Biology' hitmakers ' who were formed on TV talent show 'Popstars The Rivals' in 2002 - have not performed together since they opened for Coldplay at Wembley Stadium in 2009.

While taking a break from the band, Cheryl has launched a successful solo career ' releasing two albums 'judged 'The X Factor' and has now been confirmed as a member of the judging panel on the US version of the pop star search show by Simon Cowell.

Earlier this year, Kimberley said it would be tough to get the band together for a reunion because of their hectic schedule.

She said:"It's not down to me. It's all of us - Cheryl's busy and Nadine's not in the country, she's in America, so it's difficult."

Beyonce Knowles is 'working nights' on her new album while in Paris.

The 'Run The World (Girls)' singer is visiting the French capital with husband Jay-Z, and while staying in a two story suite at the Hotel Le Meurice the pair have been working hard to get her forthcoming album complete.

A source told People.com: 'They've set up a studio in another suite and have been working nights on her album.'

The couple arrived in Paris by private jet on Monday (18.04.11), and enjoyed a trip with her six-year-old nephew Daniel ' son of her sister Solange Knowles ' to Disneyland today (21.04.11), where she was seen having fun wearing a cap with the image of Disney character Goofy.

However, she has spent most of her time working, with a source joking she hadn't even been seen shopping in the city's expensive stores.

The insider said: 'She hasn't gone out on one of her customary kamikaze boutique runs.'

Beyonce is thought to be working with 'S&M' hitmaker Rihanna on her new album after meeting at this year's Grammy Awards.

An insider said: 'Rihanna has wanted to work with Beyonce for some time now and, after talking about a duet at this year's Grammys, they have finally managed to set aside some time to record together.

"The song will feature on Beyonce's album and will be a number one smash hit for sure."

Shakira defends her title as most downloaded Latin music artist

Ahead of the hotly anticipated Billboard Latin Music Awards, taking place in Miami on April 28, the latest global download survey by Nokia's Ovi Music* reveals Shakira is the world's most popular Latin musician in 2011 for the second year running. Claiming five of the world's ten most downloaded Latino tracks, her lead single Waka Waka still dominates the Latin charts having scooped most downloaded song globally of 2010.

Colombian superstar Shakira, famous for her infectious Latino pop songs including She Wolf and Hips Don't Lie, is nominated for 13 awards at this year's Billboard Latin Music Awards, including 'Latin Artist of the Year' and 'Hot Latin Songs Female Artist of the Year'.

If downloads from Nokia's Ovi Music service determined the winner, Shakira would be the hot favorite. She currently tops the Latin download charts in over 38 countries and claims five of the world's ten most downloaded Latino tracks ' with her lead single Waka Waka currently top of the Ovi Music Latino download charts.

The Music say farewell with a free track

The Music, who recently announced farewell shows in Japan, London and Leeds are planning to bow out with a new single - Ghost Hands.

Produced by Richard McNamara (Embrace) and the band, the track will be available to download for free from the band's websitenow.

The track was originally recorded when the band were working on their never completed fourth album.

Talking about the single lead singer Robert Harvey said"we love the track and it just seemed a shame to leave it gathering dust for ever. Cheryl Cole has sent baby gifts to Derek Hough's sister

The 27-year-old singer is said to be"gushing"over pictures of her rumoured boyfriend's new nephew Quaid Robert Wise and shipped a bursting hamper to his home Toronto, Canada, to celebrate his arrival.

A friend of Derek's told The Sun newspaper:"Cheryl sent a beautiful basket of gifts when Quaid was born last week.

"She also sent Derek's sister a gorgeous note of congratulations along with the basket, which included a baby bath towel, teddy bears, dummies, an embroidered bib and organic bath products."

Derek's sister Sharee Hough Wise and her husband Randall Wise welcomed Quaid into the world earlier this month.

Sharee's other famous sibling, 'Dancing with the Stars' performer Julianne Hough, took to her twitter page to announce the happy news.

She wrote: 'My new nephew!! RT @randallwise: Quad Robert Wise 7l bs 15 oz has arrived. We are blessed! (sic)'

Chas and Dave perform last London gig

Chas and Dave thrilled fans at London's Indig02 Monday night (18.04.11) as they performed their last ever show in the UK capital.

The cockney duo - made up of David Peacock and Chas Hodges - were in fine form as they played through their greatest hits at the packed venue in their home town, much to the delight of the pair's loyal followers.

The band's set included 'Rabbit', 'Gertcha', 'Ain't No Pleasing You', 'The Sideboard Song' and 'Snooker Loopy' with dedicated fans singing along to almost every word.

One fan told BANG Showbiz:"They are incredible performers and it was a great send off, but we're incredibly sorry to see them go - I can't think how anybody could possibly replace them."

While it is Chas and Dave's final tour, their legacy is set to live on as they are to re-record 'Snooker Loopy' to mark its 25th anniversary.

World Snooker chairman Barry Hearn said:"It might give the nation nightmares, but the time is right for a remake. Snooker is going places."

Chas has previously said he isn't worried about not playing with Dave anymore because he knows their songs will last.

He said:"The beauty of it is, there's always the records, which will always be around. There was a little coincidence yesterday - my wife told me a friend of hers was speaking about a funeral she'd been to, and as they played the fellow out they were playing 'The Sideboard Song 'by Chas and Dave. That's the great thing, the songs are not just made for the moment, they're made forever."

Before Chas and Dave took to the stage last night, north London quintet The Holloways performed, which was also one of their final concerts before splitting up.

Launch Night for possible 'Album of the Year' contender this Friday

Ghosts of Progress will finally launch their critically acclaimed debut album 'Exchange your Problems for Whisky and Dope' in Glasgow this Friday night (April 22nd) at the Captains Rest, Great Western Road (Also the same weekend Captains Rest celbrates it's Third birthday)

The duo consisting of Lew Pelgeave and Calum Christie formed out of the ashes of a 4 piece in 2008 and have been 'Keeping drummers out of live music ever since'

Lew plays guitar and sings whilst also kicking half a drum kit live on stage while Callum rocks out with some intricate craftmanship alongside him. It gives them a unique live dynamic like no other live band I've ever seen.

Having seen them play Three times before and previously gave them my first and only ever 5 star album review on www.music-news.com, I also included them in the Scottish Tips for 2011 show. They've certainly won me over in a saturated scene full of same old, same old. Refreshingly ballsy and reassuringly loud Im far from the only one as review after review gives these guys top marks again and again.

It's a dirty bluesy garage rock classic and reminds me of Queens of the Stone Age mixed with a melodic Gomez groove.

I caught up with Lew to ask him a few questions ahead of the big Glasgow launch. First up what influences their music ' one man bands, metal and punk . Dont do indie pish im afraid. Nowadays our main influences are the bands we play with the Bucky Rage, the Amazing One Man Band, Fatalists, Acid Fascists, Girobabies, Filthy Little Secret,Casino Queen. We recently played with Lafaro in dundee and at haddowfest they were an amazing live band'

How would he describe the album himself in one sentence?

'our album is a ten track brutal garage blues record that will batter you from start to finish'

Its hard to disagree with that sentiment. It's an album that demands your attention. The producers done a fine job of translating the live sound onto record but until you see it with your own eyes the noise that just two boys from Montrose can make it may not be apparent how much potential these guys really have

With reguards to Glasgow Lew says

' favourite place to play would defo be glasgow great music scene played with a

lot of great bands in glasgow had some cracking nights there'

Having seen Three of their previous trips to Glasgow I can testify that the energy of the performances really does bode well with the Glasgow crowd who are won over within seconds of he opener.

This will be their first headline gig in the big smoke. Tickets are£5 at the door with Filthy Little Secret, Girobabies and Retrofrets all adding to proceedings. Doors open 8pm so get there early to avoid any disappointment.

Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor to score short film

Hot Chip's Alexis Taylor has been charged with providing the score to 'the Last Emporer', a short film by Guy Bolongaro.

There isn't a whole lot of information about the film, but if the screen shots on Bolongaro's blog are anything to go by it appears to follow an eccentric old man who dresses in colourful cloaks.

The documentary is 20 minutes long and will get its first screening at the London Independent Film Festival in 2011.

The 20-year-old rapper was livid when 'Champion', his duet with Chris Brown appeared on the internet before the record was released, so insisted the LP, 'Transition', had its release date brought forward.

He said: 'That definitely p***ed me off. Oh definitely. I was like, 'Oh no, my life's over, what do I do?'

'But it was OK. I just had to stamp on a few desks at my record label and say, 'This needs to come out now.' '

Chipmunk also revealed how moved Chris ' whose career has floundered since he was convicted of assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna in February 2009 ' was by the words of 'Champion' when he was first sent

the song.

Explaining how their collaboration came about, Chipmunk told more! magazine: ' wanted everything to have some kind of deep meaning and I was thinking, 'Who's going to sing 'Some people have to learn' and

The 29-year-old dancer is known for performing raunchy routines in her former group the Pussycat Dolls and says she could show the future queen a few saucy moves to entertain her husband-to-be Prince William after they get married on April 29.

Kimberly told the Daily Star newspaper:"I'd love to show her some moves. William would definitely have a cracking treat on his wedding night."

However, the choreographer may be surprised to learn that Kate, 29, may know a few moves already, as she reportedly received lessons in the art when she attended a hen party with Prince Harry's girlfriend Chelsy Davy in 2006.

Peaches Geldof wants to have a baby by the age of 25

The 22-year-old socialite ' the daughter of musician and Live Aid founder Bob Geldof ' is keen to start a family and ideally she'd like to become a mother in the next three years.

Peaches ' who is currently dating 19-year-old S.C.U.M musician Thomas Cohen - said: ' would like to be a mother soon. I'd like to be a young mum, so it's not something I'd want to wait too long for. I don't know, quite soon, hopefully around 25. I'd love to have a baby.'

The TV star ' whose mother is the late Paula Yates, who died from a heroin overdose in September 2000 ' believes she will be a laidback parent but with some definite rules for her offspring.

Peaches ' who has three sisters, Pixie, Fifi Trixibelle and Tiger Lily ' is rumoured to have experimented with heroin and has previously confessed to trying drugs when she was younger.

She has said in the past: ' have had bad experiences with drugs. The experiences aren't ones I want to repeat but I was growing up. I wasn't hugely into drugs, I'm not Amy Winehouse and I never have been.'

Robbie Williams has taken up painting

The singer has discovered his love of art since rejoining Take That last July, and has been spending his spare time when he's not busy with his bandmates ' Gary Barlow, Mark Owen, Howard Donald and Jason Orange ' creating his own canvases.

He wrote on his blog: 'Hi all, I know it's been ages since you have heard anything from me. I have been flying round the world on promo with the TT (Take That) lads and loving it . amazing. In our down time . which hasn't been much, i found I really liked painting - of course I then had to turn my whole garage into 'art club' and got all my la mates into it too. (sic)'

Robbie, 37, has big plans for his paintings, and is considering turning his creations into T-shirts.

The 'Happy Now' singer's wife, actress Ayda Field, has even discovered her artistic side since her husband started splashing his brush around.

In the same post, Robbie added: 'Here's some of my stuff. my favourites I will put on t shirts in the name of my grandad Jack Farrell - what do you think? Ayda did one too, I'll try and find that and show it to you as well. See you on tour - it's going to be ace. (sic)'

Robbie and the rest of Take That start their 'Progress Live' tour kicks off on May 27 in Sunderland, North East England.

Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Iron Maiden, Metallica and Whitesnake form supergroup for charity

Normally, if someone says who cares, you don't pay a lot of attention but the new hard rock/metal supergroup calling themselves WhoCares won't let themselves go unnoticed.

Built around Ian Gillan (Deep Purple) and Tony Iommi (Black Sabbath, Heaven&Hell), the group also features bassist Jason Newsted (Metallica), keyboard player Jon Lord (Deep Purple, Whitesnake), drummer Nicko McBain (Iron Maiden) and Linde Lindstrom (HIM).

The artists have come together to record a single, Out of My Mind/Holy Water, which will be released on May 6 and will benefit the rebuilding of a music school in Gyumri, Armenia which was destroyed by an earthquake back in 1988. Gillan and Iommi were part of a fundraising effort in 1989 called Rock Aid Armenia that released an album and a cover version of Smoke on the Water.

Jump ahead twenty years and Gillan and Iommi are given the Armenian Medal of Honor for their work. Iommi said in a statement"Some twenty years ago when the call came, I thought, well at least I've helped but it was going to Armenia and seeing the actual devastation caused by the earthquake that really made me realize that funds were still needed. Despite all the money that was raised last time, here was a music school doing their best, forgotten, in basic tin sheds. After the warmth and honor bestowed upon us during our visit, we just had to help make a difference and get the school re-built. And what better way than to hook up with some of rock's greatest players and my old mate Ian, both an honor and a pleasure."

Gillan added"The idea came as Tony and I flew back from Yerevan together after being inspired by the enthusiasm of everyone there to get this thing done. It was brilliant working with Tony again after all these years; he makes life easy for a singer. The other guys need no introduction do they."

The new tracks will be released via digital sources along with on CD with a 40-minute documentary on the pairs involvement with Armenia. A 7"vinyl version, limited to 1,000 copies, will also be released.

Elton John tells Kings Of Leon to lighten up over Glee

Elton John has told Kings of Leon to 'lighten up' after the band's feud with Glee creator Ryan Murphy.

'There's a big debate going on about the Glee thing at the moment,' John said during an appearance on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon. 'A lot of bands are saying 'We don't want our songs on Glee,' {well} lighten up you assholes! This is a compliment. Also, it sends a positive message out. What the hell is wrong with you guys?

'Two or three of those bands you wouldn't want to play their music on there anyway, but Kings of Leon, lighten up guys, come on!'

He was talking to a twitter feud that burst out recently after Kings of Leon refused to allow their music to appear on the musical series.

Kings of Leon weren't the only ones to slam the show. Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl recently said in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, 't's every band's right, you shouldn't have to do fucking Glee, and then the guy who created Glee is so offended that we're not, like, begging to be on his fucking show! Fuck that guy for thinking anybody and everybody should want to do Glee.'

Former Guns 'n' Roses and Velvet Revolver guitarist Slash said of the show, ' fucking hate musicals. It's worse than 'Grease'.'

E! Online reports that Ryan 'Creator of Glee' Murphy has said, 'Fuck you Kings of Leon. They're self-centered assholes and they missed the big picture,' and in references to Slash's 'Grease' comment, 'Usually I find that people who make those comments, their careers are over; they're uneducated and quite stupid.'

Interpol, The Kooks, White Lies and You Me At Six for Coke Live Music Festival 2011

Though we still remember the great Coke Live Festival 2010 gigs, it's time to introduce part of this year's lineup. We are pleased to announce that the 6th edition of the Coke Live Music Festival will take place in the Aviation Museum ground in Krakow on the 19th and 20th of August 2011. Today's announcement is a full Main Stage line-up for the first festival day.

After dark, with their black suits the long-awaited Interpol will appear. This NYC band has a cult status in Poland since the release of the debut album 'Turn On The Bright Lights'. With their new material, from last year's self-titled album, and indie-rock-classics such a 'PDA' or 'Slow Hands' Paul Banks and Co. will thrill the audience at 11 pm.

Two hours earlier on Main Stage will be The Kooks. They are currently recording a follow-up to their Number One UK Album ' 'Konk'. The Kooks, with their pop-folk-indie hymns, will be this, what Coke Live Music Festival fans have been waiting for.

Another band in the line-up is White Lies. Their new album 'Ritual' confirms that London-based trio wasn't one-season star. There is also, no other English team, who within three years conquered the Polish market in such a successful way. White Lies will be performing at 7pm.

You Me At Six playing on the Main Stage will start to perform half an hour earlier, than the band's name suggest. They released two good-received albums and now working on a third. Group will come to Poland for the very first time and their performance at Coke Live Music Festival will be a perfect chance to listen to the new songs.

Musician Will Gregory finds getting back together with bandmate Alison Goldfrapp"refreshing"following his recent work on opera 'Piccard in Space'.

He told Radio station BBC6 Music:"I am ready to do it now, to get back to Goldfrapp will be a very refreshing change.

"We have tried sitting down and writing lists and having coffee to talk about it, but usually we just mess about, it's good not to be too conscious about what you do."

Although the 'Rocket' hitmakers have plenty of unused material from their 2010 album, 'Head First', they are likely to start recording from scratch.

Will added:"We have, as usual, lots of stuff in the bottom drawer which we rejected the first time round, but I expect we'll want to start a fresh this time round."

In November 2010 Alison revealed the group's record deal with EMI had ended, but she was excited to continue their career with a new label.

She said:"We are no longer with EMI. It's exciting because it is kind of, like, 'Wow, this is a whole new chapter really, what will we do and will anyone want us?'

Eliza Doolittle would rather make 'fun music' than bare her soul in her songs

The 'Mr Medicine' singer counts a catchy tune as the most important thing when she is writing tracks, and cites Beyonce Knowles' former group Destiny's Child as an influence on her.

She said: ' was always into pop music, Destiny's Child, songs with catchy music. Even when I was writing when I was younger it wasn't all about expressing myself, it was just about making fun music.

' don't mean that in the sense of it being bubblegum, I mean, I'm not mad about the music of bands like S Club 7, but I do like a great song that becomes popular. If people like a song, then I don't see that as a bad thing.'

Eliza first started writing music at the age of 12 and while she warns she has worked very hard, she has no regrets, and doesn't think she would be where she is today if she hadn't started so early.

She added to the Yorkshire Post newspaper: 'Whenever people used to ask me what I wanted to be when I was older I would always say that I wanted to be a singer. When I was 12 I decided I would do something about it so I started writing songs.

Charlie Sheen is set to record a single with Snoop Dogg

The troubled actor ' who kicks off his 'Violent Torpedo of Truth' tour this Saturday (02.04.11) in Detroit ' is enlisting the help of the legendary rapper, as well as producer Robert Patterson, in the hope of launching an onslaught on the music industry.

Madonna being sued after pulling plans to build a school in Malawi

Madonna is being sued after she decided to 'discontinue' plans to build a school for girls in Malawi.

The 'Celebration' hitmaker is the subject of legal action by eight workers ' who were fired when the singer replaced the board of directors with a caretaker panel ' who are seeking compensation for unpaid wages after she terminated plans to build an academy in the African country through her Raising Malawi foundation.

Lawyer Mzondi Chirambo said:"Their employment was terminated by the trustees of Raising Malawi Academy for Girls ostensibly following the change of plan not to build the school as planned.

"My clients are also being forced to sign a discriminatory termination agreement before they are paid their benefits.

"We are claiming unpaid salary and benefits. The workers live here. The court will decide. It's not our policy to comment further."

Mr. Chirambo added that one of his clients is Dr. Anjimile Oponyo, the school's recently sacked CEO and says the singer - who pledged to build the school when she adopted son David, now five, from the country in 2006 - has 14 days to respond to the lawsuit.

Meanwhile, Michael Berg - who co-founded the charity Rasing Malawi with the pop star ' and the Kabbalah Centre International in Los Angeles, were named in an unrelated recent lawsuit alleging mismanagement of funds intended for children's education in Los Angeles.

A wealthy California woman sued Mr. Berg, his family and the centre last month claiming she made a $498,000 donation to create an organisation for children to learn about Kabbalah which never materialised, the New York Daily News reports.

While in New York, a federal grand jury is reportedly investigating finances connecting the Berg family, the Kabbalah Centre and Raising Malawi .

As well as David, Madonna also adopted now six-year-old Mercy from Malawi in 2009, joining her other children Lourdes, 14, and Rocco, 10.

Sarah Harding has not yet found a venue for her wedding

Dionne Bromfield got career advice from Justin Bieber

She told BANG Showbiz: 'There was a load of screaming girls outside, but I just said, 'Hi, I'm Dionne,' and he said 'Hi, I know who you are!' I was like, 'Are you serious? OK, nice one,'

'He told me his motto, 'Never Say Never', and to stick with what I'm doing, and be true to myself. I wanted his advice because he's only 17 and I was only 15 at the time, so he knows what it's like being a child musician.'

Dionne also admitted she does find the 'Baby' singer attractive, but admitted it's 'wearing off' now he is dating Selena Gomez.
